just went to the CEDIA show. It was such a fantastic show and the home health events were informative and really let CEDIA dealers know that this is the time for digital home health. I got to see the GrandCare System, the JNL Medication Dispenser, the smart counters, toilets, music in the walls and all of the smart sensors around the home that talked with the GrandCare system. The house was very well done, great job CEDIA. Thanks for another great show!!!
Well done to the Tech Council team for accurately describing the many changes taking place in the CI industry - the pace of change is shockingly quick and requires some speedy footwork to adapt to this new environment - being able to predict trends, or have your views on the market confirmed by others, is a very powerful tool in assisting with business planning.
Kudos to Dave and the Technology Council home team! Great video with important messages for all CEDIA members. As I continue to say in my CEDIA trainings, DESIGN is the key to our future. And I'm not talking about pretty objects like iPad 2. No, I'm talking about designing your own future with intent.
Take these opportunities and threats and DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! Design a life for yourself that stretches possibilities and builds new kinds of companies. Build an enterprise that respects all the people you touch. Design systems that serve fundamental human needs and desires and always deliver good value. That's what our future looks like.
