Black Friday - Are you dead turkey yet again? It has become an annual ritual. Prices keep getting lower and Black Friday keeps getting pushed up. Walmart has announced that it will open store on Thanksgiving Day at 10 PM. The big-box and online retailers have dropped prices rock bottom that it has become hard for the ESCs to compete with them based on prices alone (This is not our goal in the first place). We have all seen those science fiction movies set in the future where robots are smarter than humans and don’t need humanity to survive. But are we getting any closer to that vision? Are humanoid machines with greater intelligence in our near future?
I have talked about Apple TV and OTT in the past, but recently I have been surprised to see pre-theatrical releases available to rent on Apple TV. Some movies that are available are Melancholia and I Melt With You. Granted, these are not "blockbusters," but it has me wondering why movie studios would do this.
